Decks and superstructures
Any structure on a superyacht will add extra weight. Using composite materials carefully crafted from carbon fibres will reduce weight, which decreases fuel use and benefits stability. These materials don’t corrode, are maintenance-free and have an exceptionally long lifespan, while maintaining the sleek looks you expect from a high class superyacht. Fixed Bimini
Fun in the sun starts with the possibility to find shade and protection from the sunshine. 2MV has designed and crafted fixed Bimini sunroofs for extra shelter. On your superyacht the Bimini should never be a ready-made solution. Modern lightweight carbon fibre and high-quality awning textiles enhance the bespoke design, that adds to the splendour of the ship. If wanted, we can integrate solar panels in the Bimini to aid the ship’s sustainability. For every fixed Bimini we work closely with the shipyard, client or architect to provide the ultimate design to match the superyacht.
Swimming pools
A lightweight composite design will limit the swimming pool’s total weight and make it easy to fit in the superyacht during construction.
